Saltbush is a leafy vegetable that contains calcium, protein, sulphur, a range of minerals and a natural range of mineral salts and antioxidants. Great for vegans being high in protein, calcium, magnesium and zinc.
How to Use:
- A great addition to savoury dishes like curries
- Add to dukkas, marinades and sauces
- Add to salads and roasted vegetables
- Great for rice and pasta
- Add to stir-fries and grills
Great for:
Try shallow frying the fresh leaves (like sage leaves) and add as a garnish to savoury dishes. We also love to include it in rissoles, guacamole, salsa and dukka.
